EasiestSoft Movie Editor is a suite of tools intended for various operations that involve editing and converting audio and video.
Fortunately, there is a sort of launcher for the tools in this collection, which have been properly identified according to their purpose. The programs are quite easy to use, mostly because they are very similar to others of the same type. Each of them would probably deserve a review like this one but let us have a look at the overall features of the suite and those particular aspects that are worth mentioning instead.
It is good news that most audio and video file types are supported as both input and output. In addition, choosing an output profile is extremely easy because there are presets for practically every device and purpose. Likewise, most of the tools support batch processing, which saves a lot of time.
From the cutter, I liked the possibility of extracting several fragments from the same source clip, something that not many other tools allow. Similarly, it is good that the splitter lets me fragment a media file using different criteria, such as a number of parts, size limit, and length. Finally, there is another tool, which is presented with such names as Cropper, Rotator, Watermark, Subtitle, and Effects, but it is exactly the same program. You can use it to add various types of effects and change some image properties.
What I did not like about this product is that the tools are poorly integrated, which means that, for editing a video, you first need to cut the fragments with one application, then merge it with another and finally add effects with another one, just to mention an example.
All in all, EasiestSoft Movie Editor can help you perform some basic media editing operations. It is quite appropriate for beginners or whoever wants to create a video without much effort. However, it seems to me that it cannot be used for more ambitious projects. Finally, it is good to know that the product is shareware and it is a better purchase than buying its components separately.
